Hello!!

As a team we have lost a member :( now we are only David and Melanie, but we have all the desire to move forward with the project!

We know it's important to follow the rhythm of the game to move, but... what's new?

We decided that to use spells you must navigate in a new grid in three movements (as you can see in the image below). To cast, for example, fire, the player must type the arrow keys to the rhythm of the music and fall right on that square, finally, depending on the direction in which the player reaches it, this will be the direction in which the spell will be cast (in this case, the spell is casted to the right).

But... how much of this have we developed?

  1.  We re-implemented the movement of our character inside the grid following the rhythm (it's a secret, but we haven't chosen songs to synchronize yet).
  2. Now our game is not just a bunch of random nodes, we have developed a menu to play, with font "Zero Cool - Free Font".

And... what's next?

We plan to implement soon the movement inside the spell grid, work on the audio synchronization and, with that, we can advance in the level creation stage.
